Who is the Camp Director?
Our director, Lisa Eldridge, has lived in the Fairbanks area for 30
years, is married and has 4 children and a granddaughter. Her family attends Zion Lutheran
Church. She is also a past Bingle camper. Lisa along with the Camp staff make every effort to
ensure that your camper will have a safe, fun, educational and spiritual renewing time at Bingle
Camp.
Where is Bingle?
Bingle Camp is located on beautiful Harding Lake, 45 miles south off Fairbanks via the Richardson Hwy. See the web page for map. Bingle Camp is situated on 66 acres, which offers your camper the opportunity to experience God’s Great Outdoors, gain new skills and challenge their Faith in Christ. On camp premises there is a Lodge, Chapel, two shower houses with flushing toilets, 6 log cabins that each accommodate up to 12 campers plus a wonderful waterfront, home of the Iceberg, and supervised by a certified lifeguard and staff. Bingle Camp has provided inter-denominational Christian camping experiences in Interior Alaska since 1953. Bingle Camp is operated by Bingle Camp Ministries and an independent Board of Directors, and is owned by the Yukon Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church, USA.
What is the attendance
policy?
Each parent or guardian sending a camper to Bingle Camp must
cleary intend that the camper will remain on camp premises for the duration of the camp. For the
sake of campers and staff, it is the policy of Bingle Camp that campers not be removed from the
group by a parent or guardian during a camp and returned later to complete the camp.
